ShieldHer is a French nonprofit association under the 1901 law dedicated to tackling non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII). Support for victims is free and independent of any professional subscription.

Funding the nonprofit mission
Professional services are intended to generate revenue from creators, producers, agencies and platforms seeking to protect their content and rights.
A contribution from this activity is intended to support the association’s free mission over time. The funding model is an objective: its terms and the professional initiative’s legal structure remain to be formalised.

Shared research and access to data
Research into media discovery and recognition serves both missions. Their data, permissions and access rights belong to separate frameworks.

Content and rights protection
Access to one activity’s data does not grant access to the other’s. A shared research foundation does not authorise sharing victims’ or professionals’ data.
04Professional cooperation
Building cooperation against NCII
Producers and platforms can play a role in identifying and handling non-consensual intimate image sharing, beyond protecting their own catalogues.
We would like future commercial agreements to include commitments on handling and removing NCII. This is a planned direction, with terms to be defined with the stakeholders involved.
